Makan
Makan is a food diary founded by Devon Makepeace. You save the meal, the place and the people you were with, and you can find that entry again. Eat or Yeet puts two of your meals side by side and asks which you would order again. Makan says the app is free on iPhone and Android.
Where it came from
Makan's story says the app went live on 19 June 2026. It traces the idea to 2020, when friends who were apart kept a shared story of what they were eating. The point of the app, as that page describes it, is to remember what you would choose again and to see what people you trust actually ordered.
Devon has written that Jawasoft's Jakarta engineering group built Makan with him, taking it from a meal-sharing idea to the app people use. Makan is at makanofficial.com.
